Terms of Use / 使用条款

Version prepared: 14 September 2026. These terms apply to VerbaTap use after publication; billing starts only after a separate confirmed purchase.

1. Operator and product / 经营者与产品

VerbaTap is developed and operated by Zhongfei Liu, an individual based in Beijing, China. Contact: zhongfeihit@gmail.com.

VerbaTap 由中国北京的个人经营者 Zhongfei Liu 开发运营，是面向 Apple Silicon Mac 的文字补全工具。拟通过 Developer ID 签名及 Apple 公证后的安装包直接分发，不通过 Mac App Store。当前尚未开放下载或购买，不表示已经通过公证或商户审核。

The planned release is an Apple Silicon Mac text-completion app distributed directly after Developer ID signing and Apple notarization, not through the Mac App Store. Downloads and purchases are not yet open; no approval or notarization is claimed by this prelaunch page.

2. One subscription, one active Mac / 单机授权与换机

One subscription grants one person a limited, non-exclusive license to use VerbaTap on one active Mac at a time. It is not a shared, family or team license. Do not resell or share license credentials, bypass access controls, or use the app unlawfully. Applicable third-party open-source and model licenses remain in force.

每份订阅仅供一人使用，同一时间只能激活 1 台 Mac，不是家庭或团队共享许可。不得转卖、共享授权密钥或绕过访问限制；第三方开源组件与模型仍适用各自许可。

To move Macs, save your license key, successfully deactivate the old Mac in Settings → Subscription, then activate the new Mac with that key. Moving devices does not require cancellation. If the old Mac is unavailable, contact support with your Paddle transaction number for verification; do not send the license key. Recovery is not an automatic or guaranteed instant process. Online credential revocation cannot instantly invalidate an already-issued offline lease; it may remain valid until its signed expiry, up to seven days. This does not authorize simultaneous use.

换机时先保存许可证，在旧 Mac 的设置 → 订阅中完成“停用这台 Mac”，然后在新机输入原许可证激活，不需要取消订阅。旧机不可用时，请提供 Paddle 交易号联系支持核验，不要发送密钥；恢复不是自动或保证即时完成的过程。撤销在线凭据不等于立即撤销已经签发的离线授权，后者可能持续至签名到期，最长 7 天，但不因此允许同时在多机使用。

3. Trial, price and recurring billing / 试用、价格与自动续费

The first installation includes a 14-day local trial with no card and no automatic charge. Starting a paid subscription is a separate action. The launch price is US$1.99 per year plus applicable tax, renewing annually until canceled. The payment page shows the final amount, currency and renewal terms before purchase. There is no additional Paddle subscription trial.

首次安装有 14 天本地免费试用，无需银行卡，不自动扣款。付费需要另行主动购买，首发价格为 US$1.99/年，另加适用税费，按年自动续订直到取消。最终金额、币种和续订信息会在结账前显示；Paddle 付费方案不再另设试用期。订阅价格不包含用户自行选择的第三方 AI 服务费用。

Paddle is intended to act as Merchant of Record for paid purchases and handles payments, billing and refunds under the Paddle Buyer Terms. User-selected AI services may charge separately; those fees are not included in VerbaTap's subscription. Any price change requires applicable notice and consent; an old webpage does not authorize an undisclosed charge.

4. Cancellation and refunds / 取消与退款

Cancel future renewals from VerbaTap → Settings → Subscription → Billing, invoices & cancellation, or use the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period; it does not by itself refund that period. Deleting the app, deactivating a Mac or clearing local data does not cancel billing. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy and Paddle payment support.

通过应用设置 → 订阅中的账单、发票与取消入口，或 Paddle 收据里的管理订阅链接取消续费。取消通常在当前付费周期结束时生效，不自动退还当前周期。卸载、停用设备或清除本地数据都不等于取消订阅。退款与法定撤回权见退款与取消政策；强制性消费者权利始终保留。

5. Requirements, AI and privacy / 使用条件、AI 与隐私

The intended minimum is macOS 14 on Apple Silicon, subject to final release validation. Completion depends on granted Accessibility/Input Monitoring permissions and compatible target text fields; some apps, custom fields and secure inputs are unsupported. Models may require separate downloads, storage and sufficient memory. Review AI output before accepting it; accuracy and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed. Do not rely on it for unreviewed medical, legal, financial or other high-stakes decisions.

目标最低要求为 Apple Silicon、macOS 14，最终以上线验证和下载说明为准。需要相关辅助功能/输入监控权限，部分应用、自定义文本框及安全输入不可用；模型可能需要另外下载、磁盘空间和足够内存。请在接受前检查 AI 建议，不应将未经过专业核查的输出用于高风险决策。

Our Privacy Policy explains local processing, optional cloud requests, learning, storage and licensing. You are responsible for having the right to process supplied content and following the terms of any AI provider or model you select. Security and compatibility updates may be necessary; material service changes will be communicated where required.

隐私政策说明本地与云端处理、可选学习、数据存储及授权。你应确保有权处理输入内容，并遵守自选模型或服务商的条款。为安全和兼容性可能需要更新；重大服务变更将按要求通知。

6. Rights and applicable law / 权利与适用法律

These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer remedies or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Applicable law determines your rights and competent dispute-resolution forum. No exclusive court or waiver of mandatory local protections is imposed by this page. Paddle's separate purchase terms govern its payment relationship with you. Contact us first if you want help resolving an issue; doing so is not a condition for exercising a legal right.

本条款不排除不可放弃的消费者救济或依法不得排除的责任。适用法律决定你的权利及有管辖权的争议解决机构，本页不约定排他法院，也不要求放弃当地强制性保护。Paddle 的独立购买条款适用于其支付关系。欢迎先联系我们解决问题，但这不是行使法定权利的前提。

7. Changes and contact / 变更与联系

Material changes will be posted here with an updated version date and notice or consent where required. Questions: zhongfeihit@gmail.com. Changes do not remove existing mandatory rights.
